Flavio de Stefano was born the 1st of June 1988 in Rome.
He worked in the family phography shop for some years and then changed path towards the kitchen life.
After studying at the Italian Chef Academy he entered the kitchen of the Hotel Hassler with the Michelin starred Francesco Apreda and the Pastry Chef Dario Nuti.
He later moved to Denmark where he learnt the nordic food trends working in local restaurants and bakeries.
After Denmark he chose France where he worked in Paris and Bretagne learning the classics of french desserts.
Two years in London also shaped his taste and techniques regarding viennoseries, macarons, cakes towards high end pâtisserie.
The last period he worked in Singapore and then moved to Gran Canaria to open his own bakery.
Bakery de Stefano opened the 1st of May 2022 and is thought to be a point of reference for high quality artesanal products in Gran Canaria.
